Cone Flowers

I am really liking Cone Flowers now. I still love Poppies but these flowers are so fun to paint. I still love watercolor--I love how the paint disperses on the paper. Sometimes at night I have to go into the closet art studio and disperse some paint. This painting is 81/2 x 11. I think I will paint pink ones next.

Hi Martha, I love this one!! Cone Flowers are one of my favorites, right up there with Black-Eyed Susans!! I especially like the orange flowers on the blue.

And, I want to tell you I received a wonderful treat in the mail yesterday. Thank you so very much! They are beautiful and full of life giving truth. May I post a picture of them on my blog??

Blessings

We have so many coneflowers in the wild here in KAnsas. I love seeing them blooming along country roads and in patures. Your watercolor is gorgeous. I love how bright the coneflowers are.

I like the way the cone flower petals flow down. Mine are a fuchsia pink.
